7 techniques to get students to finish your course

You have expertise, an audience that trusts you and the drive to teach. All you're missing is a clear plan. Here's the one we recommend to creators getting started.
Week 1: validate your idea
Before recording a single video, talk to ten people in your audience. What problem do they most want to solve? How much would they pay? A discounted pre-sale is the best test.
Week 2: structure your program
Break the promised transformation into modules, then 5–10 minute lessons. Each module should deliver a concrete win. Add a short quiz at the end of each.
Week 3: produce without perfectionism
A recent phone, a lapel mic and a quiet room are enough. Record in batches, edit simply. Students buy a result, not a film production.
Week 4: launch
Submit your course for review, prepare your sales page and a three-email sequence. Announce the date to your audience and open sales with a time-limited launch offer.
The best time to launch is when your program already helps someone. Everything else improves with feedback from your first students.
